Half term holidays
So since the last post, we've mostly been on half term.
Thomas came out in chicken pox on the Friday Ella broke up from school, so for first part of half term Lucy was stuck in isolation with children. Baking bread, sticking and other such activities were used to entertain until allowed out public again. As soon as able Lucy took them to Thrift Farm where Ella got to cuddle a lamb and Thomas talked to the chickens!
This weekend, we've been camping..... at last, after 4 trips out in the bongo, we spent a weekend camping without frost, ice or snow!!! Friday was a test of our conviction, as the sky went black, it thundered then hailed so hard the roads went white!... so we had some lunch then set off.... and apart from a few rain showers had a lovely warm spring-like weekend... we stayed at Chipping Norton, and on saturday went to Cotswold wildlfe park which was enjoyed by all. Sunday we stopped for a picnic and popped in to see Great Grandad. Then home........
