the words to go with the photos!
Right well here goes, since the last time......
weekend 7th and 8th, we worked friday night and saturday, I finished the veg oil conversion on the van on sunday, and because it was so hot we had a water fight,
on the Tuesday, it was Ellas sports day at school, which we went to, but I went back to work and didn't stay for the picnic, the rest of the week was the usual,
on saturday 14th, we went to Franks barn dance, played on the tractor, attempted some dancing, ate some snap, drank and came home.....
then on sunday, we went to Olivers birthday party, played on the bouncey castle and got ready for another week.... albeit a short week for me, because on Thursday, I set off to Stourport on Severn with Thomas to the national bongo bash, we set up the tent, and spent lots of time talking nonsense and drinking tea, or playing with toys (and watching the rally field slowly fill, until saturday evening, when about 240 were on site)...... on friday evening, when Ray and Marg brought Lucy and Ella to meet us, we had fish and chips and after being left too it, settled down to watch the band and the karaoke, saturday was wet, so we went to Cadburys world, and wandered around there for most of the day, came back and had a barbeque, then settled down to the band... Sunday was sunny again, but windy (at least it dried the tent) so whilst Ella went up stream on the pirate ship, and Thomas slept, we went to the bongo fury AGM.... and helped to sort out important issues like, who is the arch enemy of the bongo (Nissan Elgrand) and what do you do if whilst driving your bongo, another bongo approaches from behind ('wag' your rear wiper) after that.... we had lunch, finished packing and returned to reality... with a bump..... and a flat tyre on the van!
so back to school and work.......
