Christmas
Well christmas started on friday 21st for me this year.... with a company christmas do at the kings head to see the von trapps.... all of me made it, and met up with some other trades.....unfortunately due to a loss of voice, I had to improvise... but a good time was had by all....(any photos are censored and banished to facebook!)
then on saturday we started properly with a trip to see the big fella at Milton Keynes shopping centre, and had a brew at no 73.... due to a key issue at home, then home to walk the dog etc...
then on sunday, we all squeezed into no 73 again and had a small child riot (except James who was poorly), played a few games, watched a bit of TV, ate some snap.... then left when Lucy went to work....... other than that, we squeezed a couple of meals out of them, so a good result!
christmas eve.... Lucy slept for a bit.... so as I had to go to the shops, I offered my dad a lift.... and managed to squeeze another meal out of the old folks!!! then went to see Great Grandad with Amy, walked dog, and then bath time before leaving mince pies and beer, and oats for the reindeer on the grass!.... and wait.......
He came, at a very reasonable 7am, and after opening stockings... we went down stairs and there was even more..... after pressies and breakfast we bongoed off to the farm.... to open more pressies and taxi people to the Swan.... for christmas dinner, then drop everyone off, walk dog, Lucy got a kip before work... and we settled in... then my folks turned up and more than made up for the 3 meals I'd freeloaded.... they obviously hadn't eaten all day!!
boxing day, we played all morning whilst Lucy slept, then played bit more, went over the farm and played.... then home and bed
Thursday, we were setting ourselves up for a mass bike riding, dog walking extravaganza but after a phone call ended up with much the same at chandos park with the wrinkleys and Jessica and Madeline, then turned the tables by perservering until lunch was offered,
Friday, today, Amy looked after Thomas, whilst we went to see Enchanted with Ella.... then after the usual Lucy has gone to work.... and I've just ignored a couple of calls!!
Hopefully a fairly quiet weekend, then off to London for new years!!
